Government of China Scholarships 2020-2021
Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) invites applications from Pakistani/Azad Jum and Kashmir J&K nationals for Master's & PhD programs offered by Xi'an Jiaotong University under different categories in the academic year 2021-22.
All those successful candidates / applicants will benefit from tuition fees, on campus residence accommodation, monthly living grant and medical protection under CSC-Chinese University Program.
Other types of scholarships include XJTU Siyuan Worldwide Student Scholarship and XJTU-Xi'an City Government "Belt and Road".
International Student Scholarship. The Nominees of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) will be considered under all types by university award committee and will avail release from application processing fees 800 RMBs.
But travel expenditure/return airfare will be accepted by awardees themselves. Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) is only proposing agency for these awards and has no financial/legal responsibility whatsoever.
PROGRAMS Scholarships granted China Scholarships 2020-2021
Candidates can only apply in following (English taught) disciplines/programs of the Xi'an Jiaotong University, China for consideration as Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) Nominee under Master's & PhD enrollment in Sep 2021;
1. Mechanical Engineering,
2. Energy & Power Engineering,
3. Electronics & Information Engineering
4. Material Science & Engineering
5. Electrical Engineering
6. Management Studies
7. Aerospace engineering
Note: All Students are informed and advised to apply only in above mentioned scholarships disciplines/programs (degrees), any other disciplines/programs will not be considered for nomination
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Study in the uk
Applicants must be Pakistani/Azad Jum and Kasmar J&K national. More than two or other words Dual nationality holders are not eligible to apply in the scholarships. The applicant form will cancel dual nationality holders.
Applicants must be in good health.
Applicants/ candidates for Master's degree must have a Bachelor's degree (16 years) and age is less than 35 years of age is eligible not more than 35 years age.
Applicants for Doctoral degree or (PhD) must have a Master's degree (18 years) and age limit is under 40 years of age not more than forty years eligible.
Applicants or candidates who may not be in receipt of any other types of scholarship currently only for this.
Applicants for Ph.D. program must have some research achievements it means previous research done.
HOW TO APPLY Scholarships in Germany
All the information provided in an online application and attached documents must be complete, true, and correct if any wrong information or incomplete application filled that application is considered canceled.
1. Apply online at: http://eportal.hec.gov.pk/ . Deposit Rs. 500/- challan through bank deposit slip in Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) online Account No. 17427900133401 at Habib Bank Limited, Shalimar Recording Company Branch, H-9, Islamabad and upload the same slip on the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) web portal for successful submission of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) online application form. The fee can be deposited in Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) online account from any Habib Bank limited HBL branch in around the Pakistan.
2. After successful submission of the application/ candidates at Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) portal, retain its printed copy signed by yourself.
3. Submit online application at CSC website at http://www.campuschina.org/ through program Type: B and Agency No. : 10698. Fetch / Download the completed scholarship application form from Chinese Scholarship Council portal, print & retain a signed copy with yourself.
4. Submit online application visit the Xian Jiaotong University International student web portal “student application system” SAS (click here) or at http://isso.xjtu.edu.cn/recruit/login

6. Submission of online scholarships applications at CSC, XJTU & Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) portal is mandatory. In case of mislaid any of the three above mentioned forms, the application will not be considered and it consider rejected.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR UK UNIVERSITIES Full Funded Scholarships
Prospective applicants/ candidates are not required to submit any document (hard copies) to the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) at this stage of the application process. Only eligible candidates / applicants will be compulsory to submit following documents. To avoid any problem later on, perspective applicants / candidates are focussed to prepare application dossier as per following detail;
1. In case of shortlisted applicants / candidates, copies of all educational documents and attested copies of Computerized National Identification CNIC, B-form, Domicile, IBCC equivalency certificate and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) equivalency in case of foreign degree qualification may also submitted to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
2. A study plan or research proposal (800 words for Masters & 1500 words for PhD), copies of any research publication & achievements, language proficiency certificate or IELTS/TOEFL score, copy of valid ordinary passport (first two pages).
3. Photocopy of the educational Physical Examination Record for foreigners should be completed in English. (The original copy should be saved by the applicant.) The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Physical Examination Record including basic blood test reports for foreigners as per China' Govt. policy.
4. The scholarships forms / applicant with incomplete / half-finished records or without the signature/ sign of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Please select the appropriate/ specific time to take physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months only after six physical exams are considered invalid.
5. Non-criminal Record (Police Clearance Certificate).
6. Two original recommendation/reference letters written by professors or associate professors of a previous institution is necessary. If applicants / candidates have already received provisional acceptance of scholarship from professors at XJTU University, please provide Xi'an Jiaotong University recommendation/reference letter from Potential Supervisor as one of the two recommendation/reference letters.

Make sure your contact number i.e phone number , mobile numbers and electronic mail (email), postal address where you received any document correctly be filled in the application system as they are key to get you communicated during the admission process. Failure to respond to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) or Xi'an Jiaotong University in time as required may lead to automatic rejection.
No manual or incomplete applications/ forms not work on e-portal will be entertained. All applicants must apply online on Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) portal, CSC portal and Xi'an Jiaotong University's portal.
Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) will select eligible applicants / candidates on the basis of academic merit.
In case of submitting false or wrong or incorrect information at any stage, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) reserves the rights to cancel and debar for all future scholarships as well as impose penalty, as decided by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
Only apply online before the Deadline 30th January, 2021, DO NOT send hardcopies of application forms or any other documents to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC)at this stage of application process
