PREPARATION GUIDANCE FOR APPERARING IN TEACHER JEST – PST Upcoming Test.
Following guideline and procedure for upcoming test
of teaching post Junior schoolteacher JEST Basic pay scale BPS-14 and Primary
school teacher (PST) Basic Pay scale BPS-9 in department of School education
and literacy department government of Sindh.
School Education & Literacy Department of Sindh is going to announce 37000 Primary School Teachers (PST BPS-9) and Junior Elementary School Teachers (JESTs BPS-14). The test is to be conducted by Sukkur IBA University Sukkur. The basic qualification for the posts of PST & JEST will be Intermediate & graduate respectively. The applications by the willing candidates to be filled by themselves online on STS (Sukkur IBA Testing Service) by uploading paid bank fees vouchers of Rs.350/. The candidate who are found eligible as per required qualification will be called for a written part examination at testing centers in various cities like Sukkur, Hyderabad, and Karachi. According to the sources in Sindh government, there are vacant posts of 30000 Primary School Teachers (PSTS) and 10000 of Junior Elementary School Teachers (JESTs).
The aspiring candidates have to prepare themselves in subjects of Mathematics, Science, Sindhi, Urdu, Islamiyat, English form books published by Sindh Text Book Board.
The candidates are advised to visit the website
sts.edu.pk regularly. According to School Education and Literacy Department Sindh’s
terms and conditions, every candidate must obtain 55% marks in the written examination.
Syllabus Post of JEST and PST post
The scope of the syllabus will be announced on
the website before the announcement of the date for the written test. According
to the department’s policy test will be conducted form 1st to 8th grade
books for Primary School Teachers (PST) and from text books of 6th to 10th grade book
from candidates of Junior Elementary School Teachers JESTs. Sindh government
also confirmed the quota for women, minorities, and the disabled according to
the School Education and Literacy Department Sindh. Previous patterns of the
SIBA testing service of same posts shows the pattern of test will be objective
type of the test from these subjects. Candidates should visit STS website
regularly for any announcements in this respect.
The candidates who pass the written test will
be shortlisted. This process of short listing includes the verification of
documents form the concerned Board and Universities. The shortlisted candidates
called for an interview.
The interview committee will scrutinize the following original documents
during the interview:
Computerized National Identity Card, Matriculation, Intermediate,
Graduation marks certificates, pass certificates, domicile, Permanent Residence
Certificate, Passport size photographs etc.
